About TPMS

Why is it so essential to maintain the recommended pressure level?
Let us study the following examples:
- Underinflated drive axle tyres bring the vehicle’s maneuverability down, and overinflated tyres cause excessive maneuverability.
- Insufficient or excessive tyre pressure dramatically increases tread wear and causes uneven tread wear.
- 0.6 bar overinflated tyres increase fuel consumption by 4%.
- Different from the recommended pressure level causes tyre deformation reducing the effective contact patch and increasing the risk of aquaplaning.
